Overview

Directors Christine Molloy and Joe Lawlor dig deep into Baltimore, their thrilling biopic of Rose Dugdale, the British aristocrat who in the 1970s shunned her privileged upbringing and joined the provisional IRA. Malloy and Lawlor's triptych orbits the night of 26 April 1974, when Dugdale masterminded the theft of 19 artworks, including masterpieces by Vermeer, Goya and Guardi. Speaking to Nadia M Oliva, the duo discuss Dugdale's motivations, her plan of attack and the aspects of her character that they wanted to highlight with their film.

Christine, Joe and Nadia discuss Baltimore in its entirety. We recommend that you watch Baltimore on BFI Player before watching this video.
