Passport to Shame
Diana Dors plays a sex worker with Herbert Lom as her sleazy pimp in this fierce and fiery thriller of 1950s prostitution on the London streets.
Director: Alvin Rakoff
Overview
A sleazy pimp - the supremely sinister Herbert Lom - blackmails a naïve young French woman into becoming a London call girl in this slam-bang sexploitation thriller. Meanwhile, another employee, powerfully played by an outstandingly blonde young Diana Dors, plots vengeance upon him. This bewildering blend of sleaze and sanctimony is crammed full of fierce and fiery stuff - acid attacks, London cabbies on the rampage and bizarre drug-induced dreams.
