Overview
This public display put on by the London Fire Brigade features some vertigo-inducing stunts. Abseiling, catching survivors from second floor windows and using hook ladders to scale the headquarters are just a few of the skills on display. To illustrate technological advances of fire engines, there's also a demonstration of an antique fire-engine hand pump that requires a 14-man crew to operate.
