Overview

Topping the bill at Knebworth in the long hot summer of '76, the Rolling Stones, were attracting a diverse crowd arriving to set up camp on the sun drenched estate. Anglia News cameras caught up with some of the fans who were making the most of the hot weather - some more than others! The landlord of the Lytton Arms was also hoping for a good festival having upped his beer and wine stocks to meet demand.

This was the third year of the Knebworth Festival with the Rolling Stones and other bands such as 10cc and Lynyrd Skynyrd attracting 120,000 fans.
