Overview

The famous singer and entertainer, Frankie Vaughan, surrounded by adoring fans, on a trip to the North Devon town of Bideford to open a new adventure playground at Pollyfield.

Frankie Vaughan had a lifelong career in entertainment as a singer and variety performer. He made many film and TV appearances and worked with Marilyn Monroe in the 1960s film "Let's Make Love". He is best remembered for his signature tune "Give me the Moonlight". He is also remembered for his charity work with youth groups.
