Overview

This film Catch Us If You Can (1965) is shot on Bigbury Beach in Devon and directed by John Boorman. The band started in 1957 with Dave Clark on drums, Dave Sandford on lead guitar, Chris Wallis on bass and Don Vale on piano. Rick Huxley later replaced Sandford and with the addition of Stan Saxon on vocals the band became known as The Dave Clark Five or DC5. Glad All Over from the album Coast to Coast knocked the Beatles and I Want to Hold Your Hand off the top of the UK chart in 1964.
