Saturn 3
A pair of scientists' idyllic life on Saturn's moon is ruptured by the arrival of a sinister psychopath and his murderous robot.
Director: Stanley Donen
Overview
Adam and Alex are two scientists stationed deep beneath the barren surface of Saturn’s moon, Titan, searching for new forms of food for an exhausted planet Earth. Their idyll is disturbed by the arrival of the psychopathic Captain James and his plans to assemble a murderous robot, Hector, that follows his bidding. Kirk Douglas, Farrah Fawcett and Harvey Keitel star in this gritty sci-fi horror.
A British production with an American cast, Saturn 3 was produced by Lew Grade's ITC at the same time as the budget-consuming fiasco Raise the Titanic!, whose extravagances led to cuts in Saturn 3's own budget.
