Charlotte et son Jules
Jean-Luc Godard’s playful early homage to Jean Cocteau, featuring Jean-Paul Belmondo.
Director: Jean-Luc Godard
Overview
Jean-Luc Godard pays homage to Jean Cocteau’s play Le Bel Indifférent, reversing the two lead roles to present a young man’s (Jean-Paul Belmondo) unseemly tirade to his girlfriend (Anne Collette).
Belmondo's voice is in fact dubbed by Godard himself.
