Anger Me
Like all good magicians, the life and work of Kenneth Anger, the Magus of underground film, is crowded with mystery and myth.
Director: Elio Gelmini
Overview
Elio Gelmini's documentary tells the story of Kenneth Anger, visionary avant-garde filmmaker and author of the Hollywood Babylon books. Anger was defined himself as a “cinematographic magician” and his cinema as a ritualistic form. In addition to Anger talking to camera, the film includes the godfather of American avant-garde film Jonas Mekas, and music by Bobby Beausoleil.
