Overview
This Topical Budget newsreel takes in the celebration of 50 years of the Lawn Tennis Championships at Wimbledon. King George V and Queen Mary present commemorative medals to former Champions including PF Hadow, Vincent Richards, Jean Borotra, Maud Watson, Kitty Godfree and Suzanne Lenglen. The film also features a brief extract of an exhibition women’s doubles match played by Lenglen.
