Overview

It's November 1933 in Birmingham city centre and the men of the local battalions of the Warwickshire regiment gather to remember those who did not return from France and Belgium. Fifteen years have elapsed since the guns fell silent and, at the height of the depression, it is a moment to remember a time that is rapidly becoming a part of history. The marching will continue for many more years, with their numbers gradually dwindling, but the sacrifice will never be forgotten.
