Overview

We begin with Chichester Amateur Operatic Society members preparing a stall for Gala Day. We see crowds at a funfair, military band members and a game played with a giant ball. The city's streets are festooned with heraldic bunting, including a huge golden crown. At Priory Park crowds watch a military band and parading soldiers before the Royal party arrives in convoy. HRH the Queen and Prince Philip inspect the soldiers while accompanied by the Lord Mayor.
