The East Anglian Film Archive, the first and largest Regional Film Archive in England, was established in 1976. Since 1984, EAFA has been owned and operated by the University of East Anglia, Norwich (UEA), to support research and work to preserve our moving image heritage. More than 250 hours are freely available online as examples of the wide range of film which attracts interest the world over.

Overview
On the Suffolk coast, the Harrison family enjoy the beach and sea bathing, splashing and sandcastles, entertaining friends outside the beach huts and synchronised stepping-out in their Sunday best. Young John picks up new skills including pony riding, rowing and swimming. This family of accomplished sailors also excel with their model boats on the boating lake. A panorama from the top of the lighthouse shows off the Southwold surroundings.
Victor Harrison is well known in the model railway world. The Harrison family owned Harrison and Sons Limited, with a print works in High Wycombe that was acquired by De La Rue in 1997. EAFA received a huge collection of 16mm film (60 odd rolls) from John, Victor Harrison's son, who features along with sister Susan, in many of the films.
