Overview

Amateur film captured by Ron Wing, an accomplished member of the Institute of Amateur Cinematographers. Many wonderfully composed shots capture the beauty of the English countryside either side of the tracks, as well as highlighting the skill of the filmmaker. The signalmen and train drivers who appear must have built a rapport with this enthusiast, happy to oblige waving for the camera or appearing on cue to help document the journey through the Cumbrian countryside.
