From the collection of:
Overview
This eerie tale starts with a man buying an old mirror, which he later hangs over his fireplace. Joining his wife upstairs he changes into an elegant Halloween costume. Later the man looks into the old mirror and sees a Victorian scene – an intruder kills an old man during a robbery. The killer, looking back through the mirror, sees a horrible face and fires his pistol. Entering the room the man’s wife pulls off her husband’s Halloween mask and sees a bullet wound in his forehead.
