Overview

Accompanied by humorous intertitles, this footage transports the viewer back to 1931 when Birkenhead holiday makers, with Welsh roots, came to Aberystwyth. The town's carnival (see the snappy crocodile!) is enjoyed and, after Constitution Hill has been climbed, a game of miniature golf is played at the summit. A trip is taken via train through the picturesque Rheidol Valley, where the Devil's Bridge can be seen along with beautiful waterfalls and a man enjoying his pipe.
