Overview

Patch, a horse with a nose for road safety, escapes from his stable and goes on a jaunt around Cambridge’s city streets, stumbling across a few mindless characters, including a not-so-wise Cambridge Don, and a 'road hog' who pay little attention to the Highway Code. Produced for the Cambridge Accident Prevention Council and filmed by Mr Ken King and his father Mr William King, Director of King and Harper Ltd.

Harper and King Ltd owned a garage and filling station on Milton Road in Cambridge, and later a department store selling modern electrical goods. As well as being a successful businessman, William King was a keen amateur film maker and filmed many of his business activities in addition to producing road safety films for the Cambridge Accident Prevention Council.
