Overview

Probably part of a series of Welsh gems, promoting various locations as visitor attractions. Conwy (the ‘a’ has been officially dropped by now) has lots to offer e.g. castle, Telford suspension bridge, Elizabethan mansion and, on the quayside, the smallest house in Great Britain, as verified by the Guiness Book of Records, at 72 inches wide and 122 inches high. Its last inhabitant, a fisherman over 6ft tall, left in 1900 when it was declared unfit as a dwelling by the council.
