Overview

If you ever wondered about the lengths that amateur film makers would go to to capture the ideal footage, worry no more - this early making-of featurette by the Kingston and District Movie Makers Club goes into the details of how the Commended Perils of Picturegoing was made. Including details about the tremendous weather effects (a hair dryer for wind and sprinkled snow) and just how many tries it takes to get a child to drop ice cream down someone's neck!

This film is from the collection of Kingston Heritage Service, a member of the London's Screen Archives Network.
