Overview
It’s 1967 and Chairman Mao’s cultural revolution is in full swing increasing pressure on Britain’s role in Hong Kong. In London tensions reach breaking point when members of the Chinese Legation fight with police at 'the battle of Devonshire Close'. The day after the ‘battle’ ATV Today’s Gwyn Richards asks if all this political wrangling will stop the people of Birmingham eating in their local Chinese restaurant.
