Overview

From (possibly!) the largest marquee ever erected in the town to Stan Bond and his mobile aquatic show the management of R. and W.H. Symington, a Market Harborough corset manufacturer, up the stakes in order to celebrate their centenary. Workers from subsidiary factories are bussed in from as faraway as Manchester and much fun is had by all long into the evening. This record of the event is wonderfully nostalgic creating a likable commemorative film.
