Overview

Herbert Bellis and his fellow Flintshire County Council employees are fuelled for their work on the roads by tea and sandwiches but the fair Blodwen requires something more substantial. Her lunch – a bag of coal - arrives by special delivery, in a FCC van, and it keeps her rolling smoothly on, driven and maintained in all her steam-powered complexity by Bellis.
