Overview
Produced for the Festival of Britain in 1951 by Raymond Spottiswoode, the Royal River, from which this extract originates, was made during a short-lived golden era for 3D film. Available here in 2D, this extract has a lovely lilting quality; get carried away by William Alwyn's pastoral score and the delightful panoramic views of Windsor.
