Taming of the Shrew
The Shrew gets a taste of her own medicine from a rumbustious Petruchio
Overview
The rumbustious Petruchio agrees to marry Katherine the Shrew, leading to a farcical wedding and stormy honeymoon in this second part of a two reel version of the play by production company British & Colonial. It was one of several films made by the company to fill cinema programmes and has a slightly educational feel about it. It's a budget production and highly condensed, but the acting is sprightly enough to make it watchable - Dacia Deane shows off a superb frown in her role as Kate.
