Connery directed only one film, The Bowler And The Bunnet (1967). The Glasgow shipyard documentary had just been released when the James Bond star met Braden. “I’d never considered myself a particularly political animal at all,” he admits, saying the project " awakened all sorts of dislikes and likes" in him. It's a remarkable interview covering the issues of a society in turbulence.
