Director: Neil Jordan
Overview
Cillian Murphy is extraordinary as the transgender foundling searching for her lost mother, in Neil Jordan’s runaway romp. Patrick/Kitten’s odyssey takes him through Ireland to London, encompassing numerous escapades along the way, including run-ins with the IRA and spells of prostitution.
Adapted from Patrick McCabe’s novel, Breakfast on Pluto is a hilarious and heart-warming fable, exploring in more light-hearted style some of the themes from Jordan’s previous blockbuster, The Crying Game.
