Overview
Single father Luke and drag queen Ayesha meet when Luke accidentally stumbles through the doors of an effervescent nightclub. After a series of false starts, the pair’s playful and magnetic bond deepens over long drives across the UK. A stunning romance, rooted in two distinct communities, Unicorns is loosely inspired by the real-life experiences of Asifa Lahore, Britain’s first out Muslim drag queen.
